Thank you for taking the time to visit the website for Dyce Parish Church. I do hope you find our site informative and helpful.
Dyce Parish Church is a Presbyterian Church, part of the Church of Scotland and a congregation within the Presbytery of Aberdeen. As God's people we are committed to sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Since the 8th century there has been a Christian presence in Dyce and thankfully that presence still continues to this day. The message has remained the same throughout the centuries; a message centred on the love of God, a love that compelled him to give his only Son, to save us all from our sin.
As a church family we gather each Sunday to worship God, to offer him our praise and to seek his blessing for ourselves and for our families and friends. Our worship tend to be relaxed in nature and there is no need to dress up! We welcome people of all backgrounds and visitors are always assured of a warm welcome.
Throughout the week we offer numerous opportunities for people to gather together for fellowship and fun. There truly is something for everyone. We see ourselves very much at the heart of the community with a heart for the community.
We are a warm and welcoming congregation located in a suburban village on the outskirts of Aberdeen. We are a community of faith with a heart for worship, fellowship, and outreach, grounded in our mission; Building meaningful relationships with God, each other and the community – reaching up, reaching in, reaching out.
With a role around 400 and a weekly attendance of around 60 to 100, we are a multigenerational church with a broad demographic that includes older members, teenagers, and young families. Our worship reflects this diversity offering a blend of traditional and contemporary worship styles.
We have celebrated 10 baptisms in the last few years, 26 people have joined our church and a number of worshippers have attended from other Congregations due to closure or re-organisation of Churches in our Presbytery.
It would be wonderful to see you in church sometime.
May God bless you
