The Church of Scotland Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland which invites and encourages both women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.
With around 20,000 members, the Guild is one of Scotland's largest voluntary organisation. Although women make up the bulk of our membership, increasingly, men are becoming members and taking active roles at local and national levels.
The Dyce Guild recently merged with Bucksburn/Stoneywood Guild. The Guild meet regularly and partake in a wide variety of group activities and events, examples include; talks from external groups such as Sandpiper Trust, A walk down memory lane, Spice Gardens of India, Salvation Army. The Guild also has many outings through the year; Annual Dundee Gathering, Peterhead Prison, Panto's to name a few. The Guild hold events such as Sales, Scottish Nights, World Day of Prayer, Chipper Suppers and even fill shoeboxes to send to less fortunate people worldwide.
Aim: The Guild encourages people to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and service.
